Description:
The Homeowner wanted a rustic, classic, earth-toned look which complemented the existing Spanish-style home that looks to the gorgeous mountains in La Quinta, California. The entire flooring was replaced with chiseled travertine tiles, wood decorative baseboards were used and the walls and ceilings, throughout the entire house, were painted. Improvements to the outside lighting were also completed.
The bathroom remodel was the main focus. The guest and master bathrooms were redesigned, the locations of the plumbing fixtures were changed, drywall was laid and water insulation material for the shower was installed. Solar tubes were added to both and the lighting was improved by adding recessed lights, dimmer switches, and new light fixtures.
In the master bath, custom vanity cabinets with handmade copper sinks were manufactured, Brizo brass faucets were used as well as Cambria quartz countertops. A freestanding bathtub with tub filler added a beautiful modern touch.
In the guest bathroom, a shower with alcove, a corner bench, linear infinity drain, and glass door completely met the homeowner’s needs. A custom-made vanity cabinet with a complementary sink and faucet was also installed.
